Darren is our Master Technician boasting over 30 years’ experience within the trade. Darren is a fully qualified registered professional, and an IMI (Institute of the Motor Industry) accredited Master Technician.

Our Services
Car Repairs – If you have an automotive issue don’t put off a visit to Advanced Vehicle Centre. After all, minor issues will usually quickly worsen, putting your safety at risk and becoming potentially drastically more expensive to fix. Our diagnostics specialist will identify the problem, whether it be a mechanical or electrical issue then carry out the appropriate car repairs. Most of the time, we’ll have the relevant parts on site, but should we have to order in parts you’ll be able to make use of a complementary courtesy car, to minimise the inconvenience cause.
Car Servicing – Most manufacturers recommend drivers go in for car servicing at least every year. In doing so clients will enjoy improved mileage, performance, road safety and vehicle longevity. If you’re unsure when your vehicle last underwent car servicing, check your manufacturer’s handbook for any logged details. If in doubt – ere on the side of safety, and book with us online or over the phone.
MOT Testing – All vehicles over the age of three years are required by law to under MOT testing to assure they are roadworthy. We provide convenient, competitively priced MOT testing that takes the hassle out the process. We’ll ensure you’re booked in at a time that won’t disrupt your schedule. We also offer an “MOT while you wait” option so that you can have your MOT completed and drive away as soon as the test is complete therefore avoiding being without your vehicle for a prolonged period (this is of course subject to the vehicle passing the MOT test). In the event that your vehicle should fail the MOT test we can undertake all the necessary repairs and are delighted to offer you a FREE re-test once the repair work is complete.
Engine Remapping – This service will improve the power, performance, torque and fuel economy of your vehicle. It works by replacing your car’s generic ECU map, which is inhibited by having to meet a vast range of legal requirements in countless locales around the UK and indeed the wider world at large. By tailoring your ECU to your driving style and local regulatory standards, you’ll notice more torque, horsepower and even improved fuel efficiency.
Diagnostics – Our garage is equipped with the latest and most advanced dealer level diagnostics equipment, meaning we can quickly get to the bottom of any issues that you may be experiencing, or even issues that other garages haven’t been to solve for you! Performing tasks the same as main dealers, this will include programming, coding and software updates. This technology works by reading your vehicle’s Engine Control Unit, letting us read and interpret error codes.
