Advanced Vehicle Centre formed to combine automotive skills and experience and create an independent garage that customers can trust implicitly and recommend to friends, family and business associates. Darren, our business owner, entered the motor trade in 1988. His career began at a Ford main dealership and during his time as a young YTS trainee, Darren attended Crawley College where he obtained his City & Guilds qualifications.

After completing his initial training, Darren moved to a small, friendly independent garage and reinforced his knowledge by working on a wide range of vehicle makes and models. The same position gave him more opportunities to interact with clients on a face-to-face basis.

In 1998 Darren moved to larger premises and opened his own independent garage. Since then he has gained a wealth of skills and experience in all areas of vehicle mechanics. In recent years as the technology behind modern vehicles has begun to evolve Darren has specialised in engine diagnostics and vehicle electrics.

Darren is aware of the importance of investing in people. To the present day, he continues to attend training courses several times a year and frequently invests in developing the knowledge he’s gained through becoming an IMI accredited Master Technician.

Darren remains fully committed to enhancing the company’s service and knowledge capabilities by investing into diagnostic technology as a priority. Our wide range of diagnostic equipment consists of many manufacture systems, enabling to perform all the tasks a main dealer can do.

Advanced Vehicle Centre has grown to become a realistic and affordable alternative to main dealerships in the local area, and today we can undertake all mechanical, diagnostic and electronic repair work to the highest standards.
